Andrea Wolf / Biography
A love letter to
the underground.
Andrea Wolf is a Canadian DJ and emerging producer whose sound is a bold, genre-blending love letter to the UK underground and beyond. Based in Victoria BC, Canada, she is on a personal mission to bring the pulse of UK garage, bassline, grime, dubstep, and jungle to Canada’s West Coast—placing UKG at the heart of the dance floor.
Andrea has performed locally and internationally at venues such as Lucky Bar, Capital Ballroom, Herman’s Upstairs, The Waverley, Pachena Bay Festival, as well as Flex FM (London UK) and the Ministry of Sound. In 2025, Andrea cemented her reputation as one to watch by winning the Vancouver Island DJ Competition. She now holds a residency at The Downbeat (formerly Hush Nightclub).
In 2025 Andrea founded United Sound—a monthly dedicated to highlighting the unique sounds of the UK and has featured headliners such as UKG DJ/producer Donna Dada and UK dubstep pioneer Joe Nice, the first American DJ to play on London’s Rinse FM. In 2011 she bought her first decks. Fifteen years later Andrea’s passion for DJing has gone far beyond selecting.
Through her work as an event founder and curator, talent scout, promoter and facilitator, Andrea uses her platform to elevate emerging DJs and cultivate community in a competitive industry. She is also a founding member of Siren Sound—a collective of the four women who competed in the Van Isle DJ Competition. Beyond her passion for UK music, Andrea has a longstanding history of diverse musical styles including techno, house, disco, dancehall and more.
She has supported headliners including Juno Award winning techno artist Greg Gow, Nathan Barato (Roots and Wings, Hot Creations, Toolroom Records), Defunk, Triple XL, EFfNd, Lion-S, Kasey Riot, C-Star, Joe Nice, Donna Dada, and most notably she has supported UKG heavyweight Zero (ATW Records) on his Bangers Only tour and DJed B2B with tech house producer Chapter & Verse at the Ministry of Sound in London.
A trained mental health therapist and coach, Andrea approaches DJing as both an art and a healing practice. Her sets are personal and curated with intentionality—inviting true connection, emotional release, and collective joy. With a collaborative spirit, Andrea is passionate about building community on and off the decks.
As one of few women in Canada specializing in UKG and speed garage, her standout style is both innovative and craved. With her future sights set on playing the UK’s Kindred, Rinse FM, Mixmag and The Warehouse Project, for now she’s making Victoria a home for bassline magic—one dance floor at a time.
